What was the highlight of Quality Hotel Nova Domus Roma
You get what you pay for.
Breakfast was very decent. Good variety with some fresh options. Was not fancy, but got the job done. Staff was constantly clearing tables and replenishing items. Coffee machine worked well. 25 min walk to Vatican. Lots of restaurants within 1KM.
The bed was awful. Likely should have been replaced 5 years ago. Room carpet was filthy and air con wasn't working. Luckily, windows could open for some air flow. Toilet was positioned so that anyone tall had a difficult time using it. There was a wall section if the shower. Had to pee sideways or our knees would be cramped. Hotel was far from public transport that would get you to main sightseeing destinations. I booked this by mistake. It def wasn't as bad as other reviews that I read prior to staying say.

pretty good
location - 15 min from vatican, 3 min from bus line 31, 33 . 10 min from metro, carefour - 10 min. hair dryer. breakfast good, but all 7 days the same , friendly staff. Cleaning every day, enough towels.
shower - 70x70, public transport in Rome is the worst in Europe, furniture pretty old, safe box - old and no instructions for use. the keys to the room are metal, not electronic, as in the rest of Europe. TV - 23" and only italian , no news channels in english.

Location, very clean and reasonable family room (double + 2 single beds, clean and functional bathroom, reasonable.breakfast buffet
AC didn't work for some time, took a bit of time and a reminder for the hotel staff to fix the toilet

the location was good
the air conditioning didnt work, the taps for the shower were broken and despite asking 4 times for these issues to be rectified, they werent. There wasn't even a kettle in the room
